Map the customer journey. Identify and instrument the
critical events that signal activation, engagement, conversion, and
renewal across web and mobile platforms.
Lead experimentation. Design A/B and multivariate
tests with clear hypotheses and success metrics; partner with UX and
Engineering to implement, monitor, and iterate.
Analyze feature adoption. Track new‑feature rollouts,
surface blockers, and quantify the revenue or retention impact of each
release.
Develop growth dashboards. Build self‑service BI views that
visualize weekly KPIs—activation rate, cohort retention, expansion
revenue—and alert stakeholders to anomalies.
Translate data into action. Present concise, story‑driven
reports in fluent English, recommending specific UI changes, onboarding
flows, or pricing adjustments.
Coach teams on metrics. Educate product squads on
experimental design, statistical significance, and North‑Star metrics,
fostering a culture of evidence‑based decisions.
Ensure data integrity. Collaborate with Data Engineering to validate
event tracking, maintain taxonomy consistency, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
Required
Qualifications
2+ years in product analytics, growth analytics, or data
science for SaaS or digital platforms.
Proficiency with SQL and at least one analytics or experimentation
suite (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, Optimizely, Google Optimize).
Strong grounding in statistics and experimental design; able to
calculate sample sizes, interpret p‑values, and explain trade‑offs between
speed and confidence.
Demonstrated success translating usage data into measurable product
or revenue wins.
Fluent spoken and written English; comfortable presenting to senior,
multicultural audiences.
Ability to balance detail‑oriented analysis with big‑picture
strategic thinking.
Great‑to‑Have
Experience with subscription or EdTech business models.
Familiarity with Python or R for deeper statistical modeling.
Knowledge of attribution modeling and growth accounting metrics
(CAC, LTV, payback).
Exposure to data‑governance frameworks and event‑tracking
taxonomies.
